  Ditch Cable, Save Money

Bye Bye cable, hello savings!

It took us a long time but we did it, we ditched cable. Cable was an expensive unnecessary expense. We were under a contract, miserable and paying for content we weren't even watching. Over half of what we were paying for was never even viewed. We already had internet service and decided a streaming service would be worth trying.

Netflix was the one we tried .... and loved. We <3 Netflix

Parental controls, large selections of content for each family member, low monthly price, no contract and NO commercials??? Yes, please! We couldn't subscribe fast enough. This choice, alone, has saved us tons of money. Streaming services are becoming more popular and are so much cheaper than any cable service.

Binge watch, anybody?

No commercials, remember? Press play and let that season run. I watched Stranger Things in one day, it was magical. Netflix has us spoiled. Thank you Netflix.

How much money did we save?

We spent almost $70 a month on cable services. This combined with the Wi-Fi connection ran us $134 per month. It may not seem like much but it is much, very much... it's a lot. Especially if you compare it to what you'd pay using a streaming service in lieu of cable. Netflix and Wi-Fi costs us $74 per month. For a middle class family of 6, $70 in the pocket makes a huge welcomed difference for this family.

How much would this change save you per month?????
